People are more likely to do business with people that they like, know, and trust. More than ever people want to see that there is a real life human behind brands. It shows accountability. Personal content is so important in generating trust.

I have been OBSESSED with Instagram lately (I was also obsessed with Wechat this time last year).

Over the last few months, I've found a whole ecosystem of 7-figure plus entrepreneurs whose businesses were fully brought up by these platforms and the relationships they have attracted and nurtured with their audience. I was totally intrigued by how anyone today can build an audience, a community, and continuously sell to this group. So I went headfirst into learning all the ins and outs, best practices, and strategies so that I can grow Kuluin and Get World Savvy.

This episode is the first part of a two-part series on everything I have learned. From how to use the features on Instagram to create an in-demand brand, to managing relationships, to driving sales. As a comparison, we'll also look at how WeChat in China. We'll talk about how Instagram vs. Wechat is used, top tactics for both, and what strategies on Wechat we can learn from that are not yet used on Instagram.

If you're building a personal brand, a business brand with an audience on Instagram, or curious about one of the cultural phenomenons of our generation, tune in!
